Men "do not want people to know" they are wearing shoes that increase their height, "for that reason the shoes do not shows the brand on the outside," he says, while the man responsible of her store in Mexico City, explained that the store "is very closed, windowless, as a matter of discretion."

Each time it has become more common for American men, and especially Mexicans, wear shoes with hidden platform to look taller. This is "a contradiction to what was the machismo's ideology of Mexico. Now, consumer stereotypes dictate that it is no longer enough to be macho and strong. Now, besides being macho and strong, one must be tall, thin, rich smell, use creams and do not allow the hair to fall out," says psychologist Valladares. Even women are reluctant to transform cultural canons, they say: "I do not want him to have more creams or to spend more time in the mirror than me," she explains. ARRESTED FOR CHECKING IN A DEAD MAN

ON FLIGHT FROM LIVERPOOL TO BERLIN

LONDON (USA Today) - Two German women were seized by police for trying to check in a dead man on a weekend flight from Liverpool, U.K. to Berlin. They now face possible charges for suspicion of failing to give notification of death' of a 91-year-old man", according to U.K. police, who are investigating whether the women were conspiring to avoid high repatriation costs with an unusual tactic. The women apparently brought the man to the Liverpool's John Lennon airport in a taxi and then tried to check him in for a flight to Berlin on Easyjet. The man was seated in a wheelchair and had sunglasses on. The women claim they thought he was sleeping. An airport worker said he became aware of the situation after Mr Jarant's face touched his while he was trying to help Mr Jarant out of the taxi and into a wheelchair, immediately suspected that he was in fact dead. The pair, who are German nationals living in Oldham, have denied Mr Jarant had died 24 hours earlier and that they had transported his body by taxi to the airport, and they also deny the accusations of trying to smuggle a dead relative onto a plane, by saying Mr Jarant was alive when they left home.

They claimed they had no idea the man was dead. "Willi had Alzheimer's and had not been in good health and wanted to go back to Germany to die," Mr Jarant's daughter, told the Daily Mail. "He was alive in the taxi and when we arrived at the airport ... he must have died as he was wheeled into the airport." she said. The pair have not been charged. They have been released on bail until June 1, pending a full investigation.

Due to false identification of oneself with the body and the material world, one is entrapped by māyā. We should understand that one is not the material body but the owner of the body. Due to a lack of knowledge of self, these women were kept very attached to deceased relative's body, even after the soul had already left.

MADRID (CNA) - With the recent approval of new abortion law in Spain, various secular institutions expressed their active participation in the “World Day for Life” which will be held on Thursday 25 March, under the motto “Unborn Child Day” with the aim of promoting the repeal of the new law. In all Spanish cities vigils, Eucharist or Rosaries for life, will be conducted.

As pointed HazteOir.org, “what began as a demonstration to call attention to the new abortion law, in March 2009, it has become an appointment with a vocation for renewal every year and with an immediate goal: the repeal of the new law. ”

In Madrid, “the president of HazteOir.org, Ignacio Arsuaga, will read one of the prayers (requests for the sacrament), during the Eucharistic celebration presided by Cardinal Antonio Maria Rouco Varela, at the Almudena Cathedral,” the organizers explain. Also in several Spanish cities will be held peaceful demonstrations against abortion centers.

In Peru, the March for Life, under the Unborn Child Day, is organized by Ceprofarena (Center for Family and Promotion of Natural Fertility Regulation) in coordination with the Archbishop of Lima. In Venezuela, the Episcopal Conference (CEV) which since 2000 has held the Week for Life, will promote the Unborn Child Day.
In Argentina, there will be masses and awareness activities and also demand for “the defense of life since the moment of conception”.
The same will happen in Mexico, Colombia, Bolivia and many other Latin American countries.

SPANISH SENATE APPROVES NEW ABORTION LAW

MADRID - Spain's Senate has approved the country's new abortion bill, which gives girls who are 16 and 17 the right to have abortions without parental consent, and allows the procedure without restrictions up to 14 weeks. For girls under the age of 16, the law states they must inform at least one parent or guardian of their desire to have an abortion, unless they can prove this would put them in physical danger, said the new law, which will go into effect in four months. The Popular Party accused the Socialist Government for wanting to “do away with the family, one of the pillars of Spanish society” and for “leaving life unprotected.” Ironically, during his remarks at the World Congress against the death penalty in Geneva, Spanish President Rodriguez Zapatero, who supports abortion, said, “Nobody has the right to take the life of another human being - absolutely nobody.” The bill wipes away the threat of imprisonment and declares abortion to be a woman's right, bringing this traditionally Roman Catholic country in line with its more secular neighbors in Europe. On the other hand, the Bishops’ Conference of Spain expressed their firm rejection of the new law, calling it a “serious step backward” in the protection of the unborn.” The bishops announced a “Day for the Family” throughout Spain and expressed their support for the demonstrations called by Pro-life groups against the law, on March 7.

“The protection of the fundamental right to life is an essential obligation of those in authority. The inclusion of abortion among the instruments necessary for health care is in itself a grave falsity. Medicine is supposed to prevent illness or cure it. Pregnancy will never be an illness, even though it might entail complications to one’s health, be unplanned or even the result of violence. For this reason, abortion is never healing, it is always killing,” the bishops concluded.

Abortion brings a very negative karma. The child in the womb is a soul, a living being destined for a human body. This is true from the moment of conception. ... Legalizing abortion has not at all decreased the number of unwanted children in the world, or the number of mistreated children. In fact, easily available birth control and abortion has gone along with an increase in illegitimate and battered children. Women who have abortions are often damaged psychologically and/or physically. Pregnancy is not just the result of sex. It is also the result of Divine Will.
