OLIVIA WILDE HAS BEEN NAMED
PETA’S SEXIEST VEGETARIAN OF 2010!
PETA’S SEXIEST VEGETARIAN OF 2010!
The actress, who can be seen as Thirteen on the popular medical drama “House M.D.,” took to her official website shortly after PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) made the official announcement. She used the opportunity to thank all her fans who voted for her and to remind the entire world that the vegan lifestyle is not only healthier, but also more beneficial for today’s lifestyle.
Hopefully, her own example will inspire others to give the vegan lifestyle a try. “There are some seriously [hot] vegetarians in this world. The kind folks at Peta recently asked their supporters to vote for their ‘[hottest] Vegetarian celebrity’ and today I learned I won that title, along with a dude who disproves the silly lie that Vegans can’t be strong: Biggest Loser trainer, Bob Harper.
I am really honored, and very inspired to continue living the vegan lifestyle that has been so good to my body, my animal friends, and the world we live in. So thank you, PETA, and thanks to all who voted for me!” Olivia blogged. The other winner of this year’s PETA distinction, Bob Harper whips people into shape on NBC’s The Biggest Loser and relies on a vegan diet to keep him in top form.
Think all vegetarians are scrawny, mousy types? This piece of news proves you are wrong! Animal lover Olivia Wilde proves that being vegan helps one shine from the inside out. The actress explains she adopted the lifestyle mainly because she wanted to boycott torture factories, and besides she feel about a thousand times more energetic. Congratulations Olivia!
WHAT DO THE VEDIC TEACHINGS TELL US?
The rearing of animals for human consumption is largely the cause of the alarming ecological imbalance caused by global warming. ... Vrinda considers that vegetarianism is very important because it is an essential part of man's spiritual growth, especially when it involves an attitude towards non-violence. Therefore, Vrinda promotes the opening of vegetarian restaurants, with the conviction that these eating habits foster health and economy of mankind and cultivation of organic products also means caring for the land utilization. Vrinda is developing in several countries intense programs that promote vegetarianism, including the “Spoon Revolution” campaign, through which it is distributed healthy food and it also offers courses in cooking and nutrition, with the support of a network of restaurants and food stores.Śrīla Bhakti Aloka Paramadvaiti Mahārāja :
